ENDEAVOUR HOUSE, CANBERRA
Client: Ethical Property Commercial Limited
The project consisted of full upgrade to level 1 of this commercial building to enable the space to be utilised by multiple tenants. Furniture was custom designed and purpose built in Melbourne to suit this industrial space. Pops of colour were introduced to an otherwise monochromatic template through soft furnishings.
IMPACT INVESTMENT CENTRE, MELBOURNE
Client: Benefit Capital
Benefit Capital required a space where members to come to host both formal meetings and inform discussions. The space in this heritage building lent itself to being divided into two spaces. One half could be utilised for formal table style meetings or as a quite place to work, while the other half was furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs for more informal conversations. The colours used in this space, which is located in a heritage building, was kept classic using cream with white detail ing.
DONKEY WHEEL HOUSE, MELBOURNE
Client: Donkey Wheel Limited
As part of upgrading the once Melbourne Tramways Building, Donkey Wheel Limited sought to camouflage modern day air conditioning condensers located on the side of the building and install custom made signage. GSD Project Solutions worked with Heritage Victoria, Melbourne City Council and Aboriginal artist, John Patten to design both an attractive yet workable covering for the air conditioner units. The design depicted on the covers page homage to one of the oldest and ingenious tools used by man, the eel trap, which was thought appropriate on a building that was once home to the modern, yet ingenious invention the tram.
BRUNSWICK BAPTIST CHURCH, BRUNSWICK
Client: Brunswick Baptist Church
In order to tenant, what was once both home and surgery to a dentist, this Heritage building needed to be made compliance to modern day standards. This included installing a ramp entry, installation of both ambulent and disabled toilets, electrical upgrades and fire safety systems. In order to adhere to a strict budget GSD Project Solutions worked closely with smaller trades and consultants to meet the required goals and items such as the ramp were custom built.
